Fire Ride Along

So as part of my preparation for my interview for North Comm, I did a 12 hour ride-along. I learned a lot and got to see some car extrication training. Too bad I didn't snap a shot of myself in the fire gear.. silly me!

Del Mar Fair 2010

We took Khalina to the Del Mar Fair June 2010 and she LOVED all the animals! All the sheep in the barn were "Elmo" Her favorite by far was the pony rides.. she was soo excited that the guy let her stay on for a second time for free! She wasn't scared at all and waved at Daddy every time we went past him. We saw elephants and a camel show and shared a HUGE snow cone, calamari, ice cream, beef jerky and deep fried artichokes.

We got a good laugh when our own work tried to get us to go on a timeshare presentation... poor guys probably didn't understand why I was laughing so hard!

Nikki Graduated!

My big sister Nikki graduated from college so I drove up to Riverside to celebrate with her. I got to see her beautiful horses too!

Padres Game (We actually WON)

Moe and I took a "Mommy and Daddy" day and went off to see a Padres game! Hooray we ACTUALLY WON! Tried to eat afterwards but there were 3 events going on AND it was Memorial Day and there was an hour long wait everywhere!! We put our name in at a restaurant and walked around, finally gave up and drove 45 minutes home, and were called for our table after we were home!! LOL

Vegas Trip for Moe's 21st Birthday

So we headed to VEGAS for Moe's 21st Birthday! Went with Moe's sister and her husband... Stayed for two nights at the Aria.. spent LOTS of money on drinks and seeing the sights... only lost $1 gambling! Did a LOT of walking through all the casinos and eating the whole time Didn't sleep much but the trip was amazing!.
